Intel® Learn Easy Steps is a basic digital literacy program which has been made available by the ACFE Board as an option for pre-accredited digital literacy delivery since 2013. The program uses a ‘train-the-trainer’ model of delivery, where Senior Trainers are supported to deliver training to Learn Local practitioners or ‘Master Trainers’ who deliver the program to learners.
The ACFE Board is continuing to make available the Intel® Learn Easy Steps digital literacy program as an option for pre-accredited digital literacy delivery in 2014. The Intel® Learn Easy Steps program provides a unique opportunity for Learn Local organisations to access an internationally-recognised digital literacy program with associated training and curriculum support. Learn Local organisations choosing to deliver the Intel® Learn Easy Steps program as a pre-accredited course in 2014 will receive at no cost:
  • Personalised training to deliver the program locally as an option for pre-accredited digital literacy delivery.
  • Customised curriculum and training support materials.
  • Sample A-Frame Course and Session Plan that will assist in development of courses to meet your learners’ needs.
  • Marketing materials to assist in promoting the program to learners.
  • Editable Certificate of Attainment for recognising learners’ achievements.

This train-the-trainer project will enable Learn Local providers to access the internationally recognised Intel Learn Easy Steps digital literacy curriculum, with associated training and curriculum supports, as an option for delivering pre-accredited digital literacy programs. The expected outcomes are an increase in digital literacy delivery through Learn Local providers and consistency of quality of delivery.
